Interesting Notes about Weeping Bald Cypress:
This unusual conifer will naturally grow as a ground cover or it can be staked to behave as a weeping tree. It also is sometimes grafted on to the straight species giving it a standard of the desired height. The branches will hang outward and then when weighted will hang vertically. This variety does not produce seed, but does prefer growing in moist areas as does its parent. Foliage is needle-like turning s a cinnamon color in the fall.
