Quite a beauty in the sunny woodland or shrub border, but it is also happy in large containers or as a street tree. Best in eastern and central Kansas.

Chinese Redbud is perfect for the naturalized setting and prefers full sun, but will take some shade especially when summers are extremely hot. There is a sensitivity to dry or heavy clay soil types.
