Interesting Notes about Seven-son Flower:

This tall, tough shrub has no serious insect or disease issues, and yet this shrub is not well-known.  It has attractive exfoliating bark that is visible all season and white flowers in late summer followed by purple fruit.  The flowers are a great source for nectar for butterflies that visit in the fall.
