Japanese Snowbell
'Sohuksan'
A slow-growing tree with beautiful white flowers in the spring that are as pretty when they drop to the ground as when they are on the tree.
- Upright form
- Larger, thicker leaves and larger flowers than other species
- Worth a try!
Height: 10-30 ft
Spread: 8-20 ft
Zone: 7-9

Interesting Notes about Japanese Snowbell:
This is a nice little shade tree that is ideal for the small landscape. It prefers to be constantly moist, but not wet, and needs the soil to be well-drained. Because the roots are not too aggressive it is a good tree to plant hosta or other ground cover beneath it.
