Interesting Notes about Sugar Hackberry:
A hybrid with tolerance to a wide range of soils that and with some early pruning and training will become a uniform tree. It does produce fruit that are favored by a wide variety of birds and wildlife. The birds will eat the fleshy part of the fruit and will then disperse the seeds as birds do. Some hackberry tree or shrubs are prone to witch's broom, but this species is resistant.
