Tips for Homeowners:

Pruning is very important function for this type of rose and is best done in the spring.  Prune back all canes by at least 1/3 and remove all inward facing buds and canes to reduce interference when actively growing.  Cut back to white wood any canes that have been infiltrated by insects.
